Brookside Dental Centre believes in starting children on their oral health journey at a young age to instill lifelong habits of good dental care. Following the guidelines of the Canadian Dental Association, we recommend that children have their first dental assessment within six months of their first tooth eruption or by their first birthday, whichever comes first. We understand that early dental visits can be intimidating for children, so we offer “Happy Visits” tailored specifically to our youngest patients to help familiarize them with the dental office environment. These visits are designed to be fun and positive experiences, aimed at making children feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments.

As part of our commitment to pediatric oral health, we provide complimentary “Happy Visits” for all children under the age of two, with the priority of creating a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere to alleviate any anxieties or concerns.
